Birnbaum Music Library

The Birnbaum Music Library, located on the second floor of Kaufman Center, is a newly-renovated community space open to the public housing a collection of music books and scores. Come here to read or relax quietly (except when the library is being used for lessons).

During library hours you can look through our collection of piano, string, wind and vocal scores as well as composer biographies, music history books, art books, a collection of CDs and more.

Most of the piano, wind and string music is searchable in our online library catalog. Once you're on the page, enter “Birnbaum Music Library” as the library name. No password is required. If you don’t find something in the catalog, we may have it as an uncataloged item, so please inquire!

We also recommend searching the IMSLP online collection of PDF scores, which has nearly every piece in the standard classical repertoire published before the 1920s.

Library Hours
The Library is open to our students and families on weekday afternoons from 3:30 pm-8:30 pm (except for Wednesdays, when it will be open from 3:30-6 pm) and on Sundays from 9 am-8 pm.
