Andy was born in Ukraine and debuted with the orchestra at the age of 10. Andy received his M.M. from the Moscow Conservatory and studied with professor Marina Yashvili. He regularly appeared as a soloist with Moscow Symphony Orchestra and Moscow Camerata Chamber Orchestra. From 1999 to 2004, he lived and worked in Taiwan where he performed as a soloist, orchestra member, and chamber musician. There, his first works for violin were composed and successfully performed throughout Taiwan, Russia, and Ukraine. He moved to New York in 2006 and his chamber works were published by Kallisti Music Press and premiered at Merkin Hall. He is a founder of the prog-rock band Lost World, which released 4 critically acclaimed albums. Andy has been on faculty at LMS and SMS since 2012. He is also on faculty at UNIS since 2013.
