Share your love of music with like-minded musicians at weekly chamber music sessions guided by experienced coaches, or come swing with a jazz ensemble coached by some of NYC's top jazz musicians. Singing is a joyful and deeply satisfying experience, and vocal offerings at Lucy Moses School welcome singers from beginning to advanced. Liz Fleischer's acclaimed Sight-Singing class makes learning to read music easy and fun for singers at all levels. Belt out your favorite show tunes in a Broadway Singing class, delve into the history of classical songs in an Art Song Workshop, indulge your inner diva in an Opera Workshop, perform Jewish vocal music with Nashir! The Rottenberg Chorale or learn vocal techniques in a fun group setting with Voice for Adults.
Dalcroze - Revolutionize Your Relationship with Music
Whether you're a seasoned performer, an educator, or a music student of any age, Dalcroze can help you feel and understand music in a whole new way. Known as "music training through movement," Dalcroze uses the body to develop a strong musical foundation and natural feel for music. Certification is available at the Certificate and License levels.
Directed by celebrated jazz guitarist Roni Ben-Hur, LMS's unique Jazz Program is designed for adult singers and instrumentalists of all levels, from beginners to advanced students. We offer ensemble classes as well as private instruction. Our faculty members are some of the top jazz musicians in New York City, here to provide you with a fun and satisfying learning experience that can’t be found anywhere else in New York.
