Two of the most celebrated pianists on the contemporary classical scene perform two piano works by seminal queer iconoclasts Steve Martland and Julius Eastman. The program juxtaposes Martland’s thrilling and seldom heard Drill with Eastman’s epic masterpiece of musical activism, Gay Guerilla.
