The Israeli Chamber Project is a dynamic ensemble of strings, winds, harp and piano that brings together some of today’s most distinguished musicians in concert. Based in Israel and New York, the group was created as a means for its members to give something back to the community where they began their musical education and to showcase Israeli culture through its music and musicians. In their return to Merkin Hall, they are joined by Grammy Award-winning tenor Karim Sulayman, an artist consistently praised for his sensitive and intelligent musicianship, riveting stage presence and beautiful voice. This multifaceted program is a meditation on artistry across time, space and borders and includes the world premiere of a new work from the award winning Iranian-American composer Gity Razaz.

*Commissioned for the Israeli Chamber Project by the Adele and John Gray Endowment Fund.

Tickets go on sale in July.
