Nashir! The Rottenberg Chorale is dedicated to performing Jewish music spanning centuries and continents. Nashir! brings a sense of joy and passion to repertoire both spiritual and whimsical, covering many languages including English, Hebrew, Yiddish, and Ladino. Conductor Ben Gruder builds choral skills and empowers singers to express themselves through song. Part of Lucy Moses School since 1975, Nashir! performs annually in Merkin Hall. Singers of all levels are welcome to audition.
Notes
Nashir! follows the regular academic calendar but will additionally not meet on Oct. 7th and 14th in observance of Jewish Holidays. See a full list of meeting dates below.
