Jazz Ensemble: Advanced I

This is an advanced ensemble for those who have had a good deal of experience playing in a jazz ensemble and are ready to tackle more challenging repertoire, rhythms, and tempos. Students need to have good reading skills, technique, and a good understanding of jazz harmony. Students should also be comfortable playing and soloing on a typical jazz song.

Please note: beginning instrumentalists and vocalists may enroll in Jazz Improvisation and Harmony.
