Lyrical dance combines ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance techniques to share musical ideas and emotions through movement. Dances are expressive, using popular music and its lyrics for the basis for choreography. Learn the diversity of dance and music through this class!
Spring recital costume fee is collected upon registration.
The curriculum is designed to continue through the Fall and Spring semesters. Students are encouraged to register for the same day and time for both Fall and Spring. Students enrolling in Fall and Spring Dance classes together receive a 10% discount on the Spring class tuition.
Spring classes with a minimum age of 4 and beyond culminate in a performance in May in Merkin Hall.
