Group classwork will begin with a look at pre-Baroque music and the birth of tonality, then we’ll hop some centuries to look below the surface of jazz harmony. Students' individual interests will be pursued through guided projects in transcription, composition, and analysis.
Please note, this is a 30-week academic year class.
Students enrolled in Suzuki Program receive a tuition reduction on Music Theory.
