
Based in Hoboken, NJ, Abbie Ringdahl is a performing and teaching violinist who takes pride in spreading joy to others through music. She was introduced to the violin at the age of five through the Suzuki Method.
As a performer, Abbie played as a section violinist with the Boston Chamber Symphony, the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra, and the Panama City Symphony. She presented chamber and solo works at the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, the Richard Luby Violin Symposium at UNC-Chapel Hill, and the Brancaleoni International Music Festival (Italy). Recently, Abbie was featured as the solo violinist for the Trinity Church Friends of Music Concert Series in Solebury, PA.
Abbie holds a Bachelor of Music in Performance from Florida State University and a Master of Music in Performance from Boston University, where she studied with Shannon Thomas and Bayla Keyes. She is currently completing her Suzuki teacher training at the School for Strings in NYC with Allen Lieb. In addition to Lucy Moses School, Abbie is a Teaching Artist with the Noel Pointer Foundation and is on faculty at Greenwich Suzuki Academy.
