Christine Yoon joined Lucy Moses School at Kaufman Music Center in 2002 as a piano and chamber music faculty. She served as an Adjunct Professor at CUNY, The City University of New York at Queensborough Community College from 2009-2016 and at LaGuardia Community College from spring 2018-2023. She is established as an outstanding pedagogue, educator, and musician, and is known for her absolute dedication to her students for many decades by instructing the most diverse communities here in the NYC metropolitan area. Former teaching positions include but are not limited to the faculties of Concordia College Prep, 92nd Street-Y, Spence School, Turtle Bay Music School, Third Street Music School, Henry Street Music School, and at numerous summer festivals. She served on the board and as a Chair for Young Pianists Honor Program for Piano Teachers Congress of NY from 1996-2003. She received her B.M. and M.M. degrees from the Peabody Conservatory of Music of The Johns Hopkins University under Julian Martin, a current Juilliard Professor.
