Nick Jemo holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Rhode Island and a Master of Music degree, along with a Professional Studies Certificate, from the Manhattan School of Music, where he received the Cecil Collins Award for excellence in brass performance.
He maintains an active performance career and has performed with the New York Philharmonic, Metropolitan Opera, Orchestra of St. Luke’s, The Knights, Rhode Island Philharmonic, Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra, and numerous freelance orchestras and chamber ensembles throughout New York City.
Nick performed in the Broadway orchestra of The Phantom of the Opera for 14 years, including 9 years as a permanent member. He also held chairs in Bad Cinderella and Sweeney Todd, and has served as a substitute in many other Broadway productions. His recording work includes the first two seasons of HBO’s Succession.
In addition to his performance career, Nick is a dedicated educator with decades of private teaching experience. He is committed to fostering musical growth in students of all levels.
