Priscilla Rinehart is a freelance horn player based in NYC. She has performed in orchestras such as The Metropolitan Opera, and Orchestra of St. Luke’s. Priscilla greatly enjoys contemporary and chamber music, having made appearances with ICE, Alarm Will Sound, Sugar Hill Salon, and AMOC. She was honored to be playing in the pit for SMASH on Broadway when it opened in 2025.
Priscilla has many people to thank for their educational support, but special recognition goes to Carolyn Wahl (FL) for teaching her from day one through the present, and to Erik Ralske and Jen Montone as major mentors during her studies at The Juilliard School.
Motivated by the efforts of many who do advocacy work on a larger scale, Priscilla is working to better support marginalized people inside and outside of performance spaces.
