Andrea Redman teaches a repertoire class combining Ballet I (Cecchetti-based barre) with more advanced ballet vocabulary, emphasizing the building of proper classical technique. Dancers also work on various short choreographies performed throughout the year as well as in the end-of-year recital.
The curriculum is designed to continue through the Fall and Spring semesters. Students are encouraged to register for the same day and time for both Fall and Spring. Students enrolling in Fall and Spring Dance classes together receive a 10% discount on the Spring class tuition.
Spring classes with a minimum age of 4 and beyond culminate in a performance in May in Merkin Hall.
Summer classes are standalone.
