This class explores jazz harmony as it relates to the guitar. Students will learn to construct chord voicings, play chord progressions and "comp" on jazz standards (play accompaniment arrangements). Additionally, students will study a variety of intros and endings useful in an ensemble setting, as well as arrangements for solo (unaccompanied) guitar.
