This is a mixed level class open to students who are in Ballet II or already have some Ballet I experience. Suzanne Grégoire teaches a class focused on building proper classical Ballet technique and alignment. Emphasis is put on artistic expression and musicality. In the second semester a portion of each class is dedicated to preparing for the end-of-year recital in Merkin Hall.
The curriculum is designed to continue through the Fall and Spring semesters. Students are encouraged to register for the same day and time for both Fall and Spring. Students enrolling in Fall and Spring Dance classes together receive a 10% discount on the Spring class tuition.
Spring classes with a minimum age of 4 and beyond culminate in a performance in May in Merkin Hall.
Summer classes are standalone.
